The Association of Independent Music (AIM) has released a host of new names for its AIM Sync conference that will take place at the Barbican Centre, London, on 28 January.

The newly-confirmed batch of speakers include international experts from a variety of disciplines, including TV, gaming, composition and advertising.

Artist and composer Imogen Heap, Erased Tapes’ Louis Grant, Cloud 9’s Ian Baverstock, and Transgressive’s Tim Dellow are just some of the names that will be joining the previously-announced list of speakers that includes Mogwai’s Stuart Braithwaite and the music supervisors for Killing Eve, Lady Bird, and Black Mirror.

The aim of the conference is to connect businesses across sync licensing through interactive sessions, talks, and discussions, drawing from the various speakers’ expertise.

AIM Sync will focus on topics like soundtracking a TV drama, composing for games, international film supervision, and making the transition from artist to composer.

International buyers will be in attendance and taking part in networking sessions to generate opportunities for guests to make connections and glean advice.

In conjunction with the conference AIM is running a masterclass on How to Get Started in Sync in advance of the event on 22 January.

Simon Pursehouse, global director of music services, Sentric Music, and Emma Lomas, head of creative and licensing, Beggars, will be speaking at the masterclass.
